As a substitute or extra player David has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, Buffalo Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Phoenix Symphony, and New Orleans Symphony among others. Degrees are a Bachelor of Music Education in Trumpet from the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music (1976); a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from Memphis State University (1978); and Professional Studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music (1989-91).
